“the church is the people”

There is a song that we sing in church that says, ‘the church is not a building, the church is not a steeple, the church is not a resting place, the church is a people” and at Dalmuir Old Kilpatrick Church we know that to be true.  

We are a new church, the former Old Kilpatrick Bowling and Dalmuir Barclay.

We like to think that we are a friendly bunch of folks who enjoy gathering together, as people of all ages, on a Sunday morning for worship that is relevant to everyday life. We sing together, laugh together, cry together, and learn together and not just on a Sunday! Throughout the week, there are opportunities for us to think about faith, put it into action and enjoy being together, as we explore what it means to follow Jesus in this time and place.
